We're effectively reduced to the sales force and level 0 tech support for clients. With all that is going on I do not see how you can survive in this game with Microsoft as your "partner" if these cases become more prevalent. Wow. Apparently they wanted to make sure that the work they needed done was taken care of by a partner with the most competence in that field. Only problem I see is that Microsoft partners are now established businesses in technology and consulting so they will pick a new vendor.
