ms just learning how to license for home use?

office student & teacher edition 2003 has been out for how long now?

with pretty generous qualification criteria, imho: http://www.microsoft.com/office/editions/prodinfo/students/doyouqualify.mspx

and it has blessedly allowed installation on 3 machines.

fantastic deal for those who qualify.

good to see them continuing this trend with onecare.

Good grief, its like Microsoft just learned how to license home use software - damn right anything at home gets installed on every pc in the house. Kudos to them to realize it and say it right on the box. Wonder how far we are from the site license for homes?

[...] I am sure Tracy would like to read what Vlad had to say about his new product.... I just read this and thought I would post a link to it here for Tracy, OneCare & Cheesesteaks just in case he isn't reading Vlad's blog because he found mine sooooo much more interesting. Yeah, right. Well, I thought I would post it here too because I could not agree more with what Vlad had to say about Microsoft OneCare Live. For those of you who don't know, Tracy Daugherty moved over to the OneCare team recently and vacated a position that he has held on the SBS team for a long time. Meet the SBS Team! We really did not lose Tracy though, more or less we still have him because he is working on something that is very important to all of us, OneCare. Kevin [...]
