There is going to be a virtual gold rush of idiots just waiting to be trampled. As evidenced by one IE patch after another being issued on monthly basis they have this far from figured out and we've been advising all of our customers on XP to remain on IE6 unless the LOB requires it - to be reviewed. We went through a nightmare with the ActiveX installation fiasco and have quite frankly lost faith in Internet Explorer beyond the need to use it. I'm not saying I'm giving Firefox a look but Microsoft will have to show results before we can let our customers have a leap of faith. My vote so far – blocked via group policy.

Unfortunately, the reason so many "designers" loved IE was because it was so broken that it would interpret anything correctly.
