Anyway, Microsoft should have collaborated  with its channel partners before undertaking this exercise.  It is fair to expect a greater level of corporate sophistication from a company as mature as this one. Youth and high salaries often drive a broad perspective and restraint out of the way.  It could have been done better.</description>
