		<description>As a good solution provider or IT professional, itâ€™s true you have to definitely value peopleâ€™s time and businesses as actually worth something, or youâ€™re not going to get the same respect from them, whether they become clients or not.  I think the concept behind this is a good one â€“ try to garner response from people by offering something of value (though in this case thatâ€™s debatable) in return.  Itâ€™s a marketing strategy that works well â€¦ when you offer something that REALLY has value.  Any time youâ€™re trying to elicit response from people as an IT professional â€“ whether it be in the form of a survey or if you are actually trying to attract them as potential clients â€“ you have to provide a real incentive â€¦ and $10 is just not going to do it!  Theyâ€™d do better to try offering a free tech assessment, money off a specific service, a useful white paper or DVD on data security or some other relevant topic.</description>
